This is my 12th year of teaching. I have taught first grade for 1 year, kindergarten for four years and second grade for 6 years. I love being a teacher and can’t imagine having another profession.
Two years ago, my family took a leap of faith and relocated from Austin, TX to Asheville for a new adventure. Fortunately I found an interim position at ICI and am now part of this wonderful family of educators.
In my free time, I love spending time with my husband and two year old daughter. We enjoy traveling, cooking and working on projects around our home.
I believe all children can learn and together it is our job to help them succeed to be the best that they can be. My door is always open for questions, comments and celebrations.
I am looking forward to a wonderful year.
