Good evening!

Today was another fantastic Thursday! Over the weekend please ask you child to tell you about the elements of a narrative story.   Over the past few days we have been working on identifying the characters, dialog, setting, point of view, and plot.  I am sure your champion would enjoy explaining this elements by telling you about today’s read aloud “The Sweetest Fig” by Chris Van Allsburg.  We are also reading a chapter book by called Fourth Grade RATS by Jerry Spinelli.  This fictional book centers around a two boys who are learning what it means to grow up.
